We spent 2 nights in Mt Isa, seeing some friends of mum and dad's for dinner and lunch and having a great play at their houses and then at the fancy new Fun Park there. It was interesting going to see all the houses that mum and dad used to live in before we all came along.

On the day we left Mt Isa we headed to the shop to restock with some food and we were lucky enough to get a SCOOTER each!!! How exciting...That day we crossed the border into the Northern Territory - Lachlan thought that meant that Darwin was very close! He was disappointed when we told him we'd still have to drive for a few more days!

That night we stopped at a roadside rest area called Soudan Bore - heaps of red dirt for us to play in and lots of places to hide too. We got up early the next morning to head to our next stop Banka Banka Station. It was a lovely place, with lots of green grass and a very rocky hill to climb to get to the Lookout at the top.

Another early start the next day as we had lots of driving to do - Katherine here we come! After we set up we finally got to get the scooters out! So much fun then - trying to do wheelies and flips on them. Chloe was funny on hers...she wanted to stand on it and get mum or dad to push her along! Think she needs some more practice.
Mummy and Josh mucking around!
